Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 23, 2026
Loadatum ("we", "our", or "us") operates loadatum.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.
Data We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and a hashed password. We never store your password in plain text.
While using the app you provide personal data related to your handloading activity: component inventory (brass, primers, powder, bullets), load recipes, firearm records, and range session results including group sizes and velocity readings. This data is stored on your behalf so the app can function. It is visible only to you.
When you subscribe to Loadatum Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card number, expiry date, or CVV. Stripe provides us with a customer identifier and subscription status so we can grant Pro access.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data only to:
- Operate and provide the app's features
- Process your subscription and manage billing through Stripe
- Send transactional emails (account-related notices, password resets)
- Respond to support or privacy requests you initiate
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond operating the service.
Third-Party Processors
Stripe processes subscription payments. Your payment data is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy. Stripe is certified to PCI DSS Level 1, the highest level of payment security certification.
Brevo is used to deliver transactional email. Email addresses are shared with Brevo only to deliver messages you trigger (e.g. password reset). Brevo does not use your address for marketing.
Umami is used for website analytics. It is self-hosted on our own infrastructure. No data is sent to third-party servers. Umami records aggregate page visit counts and referrer information only. It does not collect personal data, does not use cookies, and cannot identify individual visitors.
Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, your data is removed from the production database within 30 days. Backups are rotated on a rolling schedule and are fully purged within 90 days of deletion.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Object to or restrict processing in the ways described above
- Receive your data in a portable format (where technically feasible)
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@loadatum.com . We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
Loadatum uses one session cookie to keep you logged in. No advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies are set. No cookie consent banner is required.
Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will notify you by email or by displaying a notice in the app. Continued use of Loadatum after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
